Why? Because it’s about creating a better future for everyone. If we can do better, we should do better. Though humans haven’t always behaved this way, resources on our planet are finite. It’s time we started acting as such.

This approach, of course, relates to sustainable innovation in our products but also in how we run our businesses, how we transport ethically and how we power our buildings. We are committed to becoming fully solar-powered by 2025.
Becoming a truly sustainable business is a long road, but we’re certainly on it. While we are a company with a strong heritage, we have no interest in living in the past.
The regeneration process consist of 4 steps:
Step One – Rescue: The Econyl® Regeneration system starts with rescuing waste, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic from all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all of the nylon possible.
Step 2 – Regenerate: Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycle right back to its original building blocks, through a depolymerization process, that allows polymers to come back to monomers. This means that Econyl® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as virgin nylon, with the same purity and features.
Step 3 – Remake: Econyl® regenerated nylon is processed into polymers and yarn for carpet and textile for the fashion and interiors industries.
Step 4 – Reimagine: This step is where EC Carpets comes into play. Using Econyl® regenerated nylon to produced beautiful, comfortable  and sustainable carpets.
