Spring is in the air ? Unfortunately for some though this means allergies and hay fever are too. Did you know that carpet can be a good choice for allergy sufferers?

Carpet traps common airborne contaminates, including, dust and allergens. This helps improve indoor air quality as it means the contaminates aren't left floating in the air or sitting on surfaces. By vacuuming regularly and having your carpet professionally cleaned yearly you can remove these contaminates, making carpet an excellent choice! Solution Dyed Nylon carpets in particular can be a good choice for allergy sufferers, especially in high traffic areas. This is because SDN's are resistant to dirt, mildew and stains which makes it easier to keep them clean of allergens and irritants. Wool carpet can also be a good choice as it naturally has hypoallergenic properties.
